Since undergoing a €10million makeover in 2007 with amazing results, Clontarf Castle has become one of Ireland’s leading castle hotels. Set in idyllic surroundings amongst leafy grounds which incorporates a pretty garden to the front of the impressive façade, this is a setting that romance was made for.

The Great Hall
As befits it’s title, The Great Hall is the perfect venue for your special day with a plush cream and gold colour scheme, designer Louise Kennedy crystal chandeliers, state of the art lighting and a dramatic frieze of the Battle of Clontarf, restoring the historic element of the castle. This beautifully co-ordinated room is complete with its own bar, full air-conditioning and is adjacent to the hotel lobby, a picture perfect location.
The Viking Suite
Located on the lower ground floor with a luxurious red colour scheme, the Viking Suite is popular for Civil Ceremonies and wedding receptions alike. With the added advantage of a bar inside the room and a private pre-function area, there is also full air conditioning and natural daylight.
Fahrenheit Grill
Why not climb the original castle staircase, an ideal photo opportunity, to dine in the wonderful medieval style setting of the Fahrenheit Grill. With its dramatic high ceilings and stained glass windows it is very much reminiscent of a bygone era, and a truly unique setting in which to begin your future.
Indigo Lounge
The award winning contemporary Indigo Lounge radiates cool chic. Red chandeliers, stylish glass wear and comfortable sofa style seating make this Lounge a setting like no other. The Indigo Lounge can accommodate live music, therefore it be utilised for your arrival drinks reception or evening party.
