Coolcarrigan church is located 20 minutes from Naas in Co.Kildare. Its location is secluded within the confines of Coolcarrigan estate within a small forest looking out on to parkland.
A very unique, romantic, traditional church only accessible by walking through a Lynch gate as the church is surrounded by a circular dry moat.
The church can seat up to 60 people. Biblical inscriptions on the walls include ‘God is Love’ and ‘I am the way, the truth and the life’ with Romanesque styled windows dating back to the 18th century. An old-style setting for couples looking for a more alternative wedding venue.
Religious ceremonies can take place at Coolcarrigan by a registered religious solemniser. Marriage blessings or renewal of wedding vows are also options for hire of church. Couples of any denomination can hold a marriage blessing at Coolcarrigan whether it be Catholics, Protestants, Muslims etc and couples are permitted to have the ceremony they wish in consultation with their priest.
Coolcarrigan garden can be hired for drinks and canapes after the wedding ceremony. It’s a 15 acre garden of meandering paths with impressive vistas around every corner containing some of the rarest and most unusual shrubs and plants in Ireland. An ideal location for wedding photographs and to enjoy time with family and friends.

Testimonials
Thank you so much for having us on the 29th. Our day was so special and fabulous! Coolcarrigan was such a unique and beautiful wedding venue and we were so lucky to have gotten married there. Your house is so lovely as well and thank you also for allowing us to get ready and take photos there. Robert, it was nice to meet you and I believe our photographer Lisa was going to send you some photos. I will be sure to send her your email address. Thank you again, Lacey Evans
We would like to say thank you for sharing Coolcarrigan with us for our wedding day on June 3rd 2011. Of course the weather was fantastic & we got some amazing pictues at the church, house & gardens. Having the picnic at the gardens was magical and our guests were in awe of such beautiful surroundings. Coolcarrigan is a haven that I selfishly dont want to share with others because of its natural beauty, but of course we have and will continue to recommended it to everyone. You are lucky to have a piece of paradise and so were we. Kind Regards, Ber & Ute
We just got back from our honeymoon last night and I was planning on e-mailing you to let you know how everything went so I am glad you wrote. Coolcarrigan couldn’t have been more perfect. Firstly, it was the only time that we saw the sun shine in the time that we were home!! it was a little on the windy side but as long as there were was no rain that is all that mattered! All of our guests were in awe of how beautiful it all was. Regards, Katherine
